Tina Thomas

Tina Thomas is a Certified Dementia Practitioner, and the Director of Programs and Services for the Greater Richmond Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association. Tina is a native of Michigan. She has lived in Virginia since 2010, and currently resides in Williamsburg.

Rev. Dr. Debra L. Haggins

In 2008, the Reverend Dr. Debra Lynn Haggins was named university chaplain and pastor of the historic Memorial Church at Hampton University; the first female to hold this position in the university’s history. As university chaplain, Haggins serves in a dual capacity, as campus minister and as executive secretary of the nationally acclaimed Hampton University Ministers’ Conference-Choir Directors’ & Organists’ Guild Workshop.

Dr. Elizabeth O. Ofili

Dr. Ofili is a Professor of Medicine (Cardiology) and Senior Associate Dean for Clinical and Translational Research at Morehouse School of Medicine. In this role, she directs major NIH research awards, supporting discovery science, research education and mentoring, with a focus on health equity, patient and community engagement.

Rev. Brian R. Thompson

Rev. Brian R. Thompson, Sr. is the Senior Pastor of Simon Temple African Methodist Episcopal Zion Church in Fayetteville, NC. God has blessed Simon Temple to become one of the fastest growing churches in Zion. And over 3,000 souls have been led to the Lord and more than 4,400 have joined the church under his leadership.

Dr. Derek M. Griffith

Dr. Griffith is trained in psychology and public health, and his research focuses on social, economic and political influences on men’s health and racial and ethnic health disparities. The Center for Research on Men’s Health is one of the first university-wide center in the US that focuses on men’s health.
