Dr. Khaalida T. Forbes

Dr. Khaalida T. Forbes, MSW, DMIN  is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Metamorphosis Enterprises, Atlanta, GA.   As a native of New York, Dr. Forbes holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from Virginia State University, both a Masters degree in Clinical Social Work as well as a Masters of Divinity degree from Howard University, and an earned Doctorate of Ministry degree in Prophetic Preaching for the 21st Century from United Theological Seminary. 

Dr. Renita J. Weems

Reverend Dr. Renita J. Weems is a biblical scholar, a writer, an ordained minister, and a public intellectual whose scholarly insights into modern faith, biblical texts, and the role of spirituality in everyday lives make her a highly sought-after writer and speaker. She has numerous books, commentaries and articles on the Bible and prophetic religion to her credit. Among these are “Just A Sister Away” (1987 & 2005); “I Asked for Intimacy” (1993); “Song of Songs: A Commentary”, Interpreter’s Bible Series, Vol. 5 (Abingdon, 1997).

Dr. Paul L. Brown, Sr.

Dr. Paul L. Brown, Sr. is the President & Dean of Phillips School of Theology at The Interdenominational Theological Center in Atlanta, Georgia. He is the author of Stress and the Pulpit. Born in Newark, New Jersey and educated in the Essex County public School system, Dr. Brown graduated Orange High School in 1978. He then went on to college at Thiel College in Greenville, Pa., and completed his B.S. in Criminal Justice from Rutgers University of New Jersey. Dr. Brown received his Masters of Divinity degree from Phillips School of Theology at the Interdenominational Theological Center in Atlanta, Ga., in May of 1991.

Dr. Tamara Huff is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon at St. Francis Orthopaedic Institute in Columbus, Georgia. Among her many notable works and achievements along her journey is certification in clinical and translational science, the cornerstone of the future of medicine. This highly interdisciplinary approach to medicine and science is aimed at curing and treating patients by translating research findings and data into new diagnostic tools, procedures, medicines and policies.

Claudia Hardy, MPA, is the Program Director for the office of Community Outreach at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) Comprehensive Cancer Center where she also serves as the Community Health Educator. Ms. Hardy has more than 20 years of experience as a senior level administrator, consultant, and strategist in managing community-based outreach and minority health programs.

Dr. Elizabeth O. Ofili

Dr. Ofili is a Professor of Medicine (Cardiology) and Senior Associate Dean for Clinical and Translational Research at Morehouse School of Medicine. In this role, she directs major NIH research awards, supporting discovery science, research education and mentoring, with a focus on health equity, patient and community engagement.
